Hey people!
I recently played Hollow Knight and I was struck by the “City of Tears” theme song - it conveyed the atmosphere of the city so well that I actually stopped and just listened to it more than 10 times in a row.
Have you ever been so hooked by the music in a game that you even had to stop and just listen? Share your moments!
In theory here, can you purchase everything on the PS store, update it to the newest version, then just... Disconnect from the Internet.
Still able to play whatever games you have in your library that allows single player just without the need to reconnect. Of course I understand not all games allow that and some games don't even have single player campaigns. (Looking at you override2 super Mech league Ultraman deluxe edition) I'm still upset about that
Yes I understand steam would likely make this possible but I'm curious about which current gen console could pull this off.
Edit: very much appreciated on the feedback and of course as I expected it would be better to just get a PC and maybe a backup hard drive with all of your favorite games. Currently playing on PS5 and no issues with physical copies requiring updates as of yet.
Also. Side note. GoG seems like the preferred option but the steam deck is well, the steam deck, so portability is a massive plus. Obviously not downloading every game available.
To be Honest I didn’t expect this game to have such a good story and graphics, and amazing script writing. What happened to Square Enix in Avengers.
Avengers should have been named Ms.Marvel: Stronger Then All The Avengers.
Who else played and liked Guardians of the Galaxy?
Feel free to list as many games as you want.
Id start with darkness 2,such bizarre and unique gameplay with an extremely atmospheric world and shockingly good and hilarious in game lore with the collectibles, and that cliffhanger ending was shocking.
Prototype 2, such an absolutely brutal game with a weird premise I just love. In 2009 prototype 1 was one of the most fun games I’d ever played, imagine what they could do on current gen consoles.
Spider-Man web of shadows, I grew up playing this game and have revisited it multiple times after and I have to say the combat system not only holds up but in my opinion in some places is even better than insomniacs new spider man games.
Also a sequel to fallout new Vegas made by obsidian, you might not know this but the original development time they had for new Vegas was only 18 months, and in that extremely short period they were able to make what I’d say is not only the greatest fallout game that none of its past or later entries even come close to but one of the best games ever released.
Let me know how you feel about my list if you want I’d love feedback, or even recommendations for games similar to these, thank you for reading.
What was the bad ending that scarred you into neurotically avoiding bad endings? For me it was not getting enough ship parts in Pikmin. Didn't think it would go that hard.
?
For me personally, it was Destiny 2. The red war campaign was a masterpiece but after that I felt lost and the game had a downfall but is starting to regain some player base.
A game that you play all the time/have played for a long time and will continue to play for a long time?
I don’t think I have a game like this yet.
I swear if I wishlist a game on PS, XBox, and Steam it will inevitably go on sale 5x on Steam before either of the others.
