About the position

We are looking for a General Accountant, to join our Finance team in Barcelona.

In this position, you will review all accounting activity to ensure Redtrust meets all of its internal and external reporting and control requirements.

The position is based in Barcelona office and can be performed remotely when necessary. Applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in Spain.

Responsibilities

  • Billing and collection management.
  • Vendors and payment management.
  • Processing accounting entries.
  • Renewal process management.
  • Coordination with external providers for the presentation of taxes.
  • Maintenance of the accounting chart, master data of clients and vendors, reports, etc. using our corporate ERP (Netsuite).
  • Ensure Salesforce processes and data are working correctly and seek for its constant improvement.
  • Ensure coordination with the different departments to obtain the information required for the preparation of accounting.
  • Constant reporting to the Head Quarter, located in the USA.
  • Complete all accounting activities assigned to support the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes.
  • Participate in the implementation of new systems and procedures to increase efficiency of the financial and administrative operations, ready to scale with the business (expense management, billing, etc)

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent level of English and Spanish.
  • Good communication, analytical and results-oriented skills.
  • Ability to work proactively, strong team-working skills with ability to work independently.
  • Advanced handling of the Microsoft Office (Excel) package.

Good to have skills:

  • Experience in startup companies, especially in SaaS.
  • Knowledge in Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of the ERP Netsuite.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
