Hello Community!
I am welcoming all of the newcomers to this community and creating this discussion for all of them, who do not have previous experience using GitHub and do not know how to push their code to the GitHub repositories.
DO NOT WORRY EVERYTHING COMES BY DOING IT, JUST DO NOT BE AFRAID OF IT!
here is a step-by-step process;
New
button (You can also find it by going to your repositories section, at the top-right you will find an image icon along with a down-arrow icon, tap on it and select your repositories).Code
button)git --version
in your terminal ) if you have then open your terminal and go to the location where your code is.git init
, it will initialize the git at that location.<your-repo-url>
is a URL that you copied above.Congratulations 🎉 you have successfully pushed the code from your local computer to your GitHub repository, go and check it by refreshing it!
If you have any questions, just leave them below.
