I'd like to either make the bot more friendly, or preferably, set a default team member to start the conversation.

hey @zkwentz! yes, we should be able to do something like this :)

one thing I was also thinking of changing in the short term is showing your company name/logo instead of the bot name/icon by default, but longer term I'd love to make it easier to completely customize this

Love that idea, the personalizing of the bot in that way would definitely de-prioritize the need to have a default assigned team member as the convo initiate / prompt.

sounds good @zkwentz -- hoping to have that working sometime this week!

in the latest version, it should now show the company name instead of "bot":

(i'll keep this ticket open until we add support for complete customization of the bot name/icon though)

Hey @reichert621 is this still on the roadmap? It'd be great to provide a more friendly icon for the default bot account!
