Description
I have a Wallpaper that looks really good when using ./run.sh renderer. As soon as I enable the extension and the video gets set as the wallpaper, the aspect ratios and resolutions are completely different.

OS and Shell Information
Please provide your OS name and version, GNOME Shell version, and the session type (X11/Wayland).

  • OS: Arch Linux
  • GNOME Shell: 46
  • Session type: Wayland
  • Displays: 3
  • Resolutions: 2x 1920x1080, 1x 3440x1440

Expected Behavior
Display the wallpaper like it gets rendered when running ./run.sh renderer

Actual Behavior
Not the correct aspect ratio and resolution, Especially on the 3440x1440 display

@N0m4n904, thank you for reporting. I'm aware of this bug. It occurs in multi-monitor setups with different aspect ratios, where there is a high chance of assigning the wrong-sized wallpaper to monitors.

Is there anything I could provide, that helps fixing this bug?

@N0m4n904 Thanks. It's ok for now as I have the environment already to replicate this bug. I might request users who also have this issue with their setup to test the fix once it's available. =)
