I just installed the GitHub BTC pay server Google cloud version
There's a few updates needed in the repository https://github.com/btcpayserver/btcpayserver-googlecloud
But it seems to work.
I installed for testnet to test.
The question is does it really run a full node because I know that synchronizing a full node takes a long time and this one seem to instantly be able to handle transactions.
Is it because I'm using testnet?
How do you monitor the full node in the Google cloud docker version?
I will do more research but I thought that someone might know the answers.
Also the GitHub repository with Google cloud is very old is that still supported or recommended?
What is the recommended way to start up a BTC pay server?
I listen to the videos and it said docker
We'd like to use Linux and Google cloud. But it seems to start up a $70 a month version I'd like to start a much smaller version as a beginning point. What is the smallest version that can be started that is reasonable?
