I wish I could use MovingPandas to analyze paragliding tracks, and I am mostly looking for a nice way to interpolate the tracks and query various parameters at certain times.
Describe the solution you'd like
I’d like to be able to optionally put elevation information into the data frame, and then be able to query it using a get_elevant_at function that interpolates like get_position_at.

Interesting. We could allow the user to interpolate any numerical column of the dataframe based on distance or based on time. Which one would you need?
I'd probably prefer the timebased interpolation, although for paraglidera the speed doesn't vary that much between data points to make a difference.
(The concrete project I had in mind am probably solving without any fancy interpolation, so no urgent need from my side)
