I don't think there's any doubt that AI can be a very useful tool for both self directed and advised clients. The uptake of these technologies in the advised section is going to be very much determined by the speed the regulatory bodies in each jurisdiction move at as ultimately the brokers/fund managers/advisors will be held legally responsible for the advice given to clients. Will be interesting to see the outcome of the ASIC review regarding AI. If the cost of financial advice can be driven down so it's more affordable but still adequately regulated then it may become the norm. Exciting times.
